- 04Pharmacy card + physician notesYour pharmacy's card with dosing, storage, and a direct number. Your physician's written notes go with it — always follow those first.
Clean the vial. Clean the skin. One swab, one direction, one time.
- 01Wash your hands with soap and water. Dry them.
- 02Tear open one alcohol swab. Wipe the rubber top of the vial in one direction and let it air-dry for 10–15 seconds.
- 03Choose your injection spot per your physician's notes — usually the fatty tissue of the lower belly (avoid a 2-inch circle around the navel) or the top/outer thigh. Rotate spots each dose.
- 04Wipe the skin with a fresh swab in one direction. Let it air-dry — never blow on it and never re-swipe the same swab.
- 05Use each swab once. Toss it in the trash after use.

Draw to the exact unit line. One syringe, one dose.
- 01Only use the ultrafine insulin syringes that came in your kit. Do not reuse a syringe or a needle — one dose, one syringe.
- 02Pull back the plunger to the exact unit line your physician wrote (units on an insulin syringe, not mL). Double-check the number before drawing.
- 03Push the needle straight through the swabbed rubber top, flip the vial upside down, and slowly draw to your prescribed line. Tap out any air bubbles and push them back into the vial.
- 04Pinch the swabbed skin, insert the needle at the angle your physician showed you (usually 90° into the belly, 45° for very lean thighs), and press the plunger slowly and steadily.
- 05Count to 5, withdraw, and press — do not rub — a clean swab or gauze over the spot.
- 06Drop the used syringe straight into a hard-walled sharps container (an empty laundry detergent jug with a screw lid works if you don't have one). Never toss loose syringes in household trash.
Insulin syringes are measured in units, not milliliters. Your physician's note tells you exactly how many units per dose — never guess.
Cold, dark, upright — and never frozen.
General guidance below. Your label and physician notes always override this — different formulations have different rules.
- Peptides (most compounded vials)Refrigerate at 36–46°F (2–8°C) upright, away from light. Never freeze — a frozen peptide is a dead peptide. Discard on the beyond-use date printed on the vial.
- GLP-1s (semaglutide, tirzepatide)Refrigerate 36–46°F. Some formulations allow short room-temp windows — follow the exact hours written on your pharmacy card.
- Estrogen patchesStore in the original pouch at room temperature (below 77°F). Keep sealed until use. Do not refrigerate.
- Progesterone capsulesRoom temperature, in the original bottle with the desiccant, away from heat and moisture. Take at the time of day your physician specified.
- Testosterone or HRT injectablesRoom temperature is typically fine for oil-based vials; refrigerate only if the label says so. Keep upright and out of direct sunlight.
- Oral tablets (semaglutide, LDN, others)Room temperature in the original bottle. Do not decant into pill organizers unless your pharmacist confirms stability.

When to stop and call.
- · If a vial looks cloudy, discolored, has visible particles, was frozen, or was left out longer than the label allows — do not use it. Text us.
- · If the site is red, warm, and expanding hours after your dose — text us with a photo.
- · If you miss a dose, do not double up. Follow your physician's catch-up instructions or text us before your next scheduled dose.
